What to Expect
Now more than ever, Queer people need to come together and show up for each other. Your job is to arrive and immerse yourself in nature while enjoying a week of fun activities and relaxation with your community. We will take care of the lodging, meals, and the hard work of camping for you.
Accommodations
This year we booked the entire campground so that everyone has the peace of mind to be themselves 100%. That means we have a wide range of accommodations for you to stay including Tents, Cabins, Treehouses, Yurts, and more! You are also welcome to bring your own tent.

Meals, Beverages, and Snacks
We will provide campers with all meals, snacks, and beverages (excluding alcohol). We are also ready to provide gluten free options, vegan or vegetarian options, and most dietary restrictions. Just let us know when you sign up!
If you wish to have specific snacks or drinks, you are welcome to bring your own.
Activities, Relaxation, and Workshops
Participate in a variety of activities including adventure such as: rock and tree climbing, hiking, spear & axe throwing, and sports. Relax and unwind by participating in guided nature walks, sunrise yoga, arts & crafts, and wellness workshops. Finally build community by joining support group discussions, friendship builders, and guided connection. You're also welcome to have your free time and partake in any of the provided board games and crafts.
Arrival & Departure
You will receive more info about where and when to arrive but you will be responsible for making it to the campsite. You are welcome to rent a car, coordinate with fellow campers to rideshare from the airport (recommended), or drive yourself.
You will be greeted at the entrance of the camp to help you find your accommodations you chose. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.

What is Queer Camp & Who is it For?
Queer Camp is an all-inclusive 5 day retreat for LGBTQ+ adults to relax, connect, and enjoy the beauty of nature in a safe and inclusive environment. You must be 21+ and will be subject to a pre-screening before you are approved.
When is Queer Camp Happening?
Camp will be happening from July 13th - July 17th, 2026. It will take place in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
What are the accommodation options?
Accommodation options include cabins, treehouses, yurts, glamping tents, and standard tents, allowing you to choose the level of privacy and connection you desire. You will see the full range of options when you sign up for the event! There is a shared common space where you can charge your devices. Wifi options are available with some of the accommodations.
Do I need to be experienced in camping?
No prior camping experience is required. Our supportive staff and camp leaders will ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are available for cancellations made at least 30 days before the start of the retreat. A cancellation fee may apply. Extenuating circumstances are of course considered, we will work with you in case an emergency or pressing situation arises.
What activities are offered?
A diverse range of options are available, some included in your price and some are available for an additional fee. Activities include: nature walks, arts & crafts, sports, guided meditation, rock climbing, sunrise yoga, spear and axe throwing, campfire discussions, providing something for everyone to enjoy. This year we will be hosting our very own Community Drag Show, Goth Night, and Karaoke Night! You will be provided with an itinerary, schedule, and a list of paid activities you can choose to participate in if you'd like.
